Meet Jennifer | Founder & Wellness Coach Behind Feminine Hues

Hi, beautiful people! My name is Jennifer Victoria De Leon, founder of Feminine Hues and a Wellness Coach passionate about helping women build healthier habits, care for themselves mentally and physically, and create realistic routines that actually fit into their lives.

What began as a personal space to share stories about mental health, self-love, femininity, beauty, and navigating the realities of womanhood has grown alongside me into something much bigger: a wellness-centered community rooted in healthy habits, movement, mindset, consistency, and becoming stronger from the inside out.

As part of that journey, I have continued expanding my knowledge through professional coursework, earning certificates of course completion in Wellness Coaching, Nutrition 101, and Healthy Lifestyle & Fitness Habits. Together, these courses have strengthened my understanding of goal setting, behavior change, whole-person wellness, nutrition, physical activity, client support, and sustainable approaches to building healthier habits.

But Feminine Hues wasn’t born from a textbook. It started with my own life.

My Path to Inner Peace: More Bumps Than Smooth Roads

Honestly, it’s been anything but a smooth ride. Growing up, I wasn’t exactly the picture of health – both mentally and physically. You know those days when you feel like life’s throwing every curve at you? Yeah, I’ve had plenty of those as well; you’re not alone.

From Desperation to Empowerment: Lonely Nights and Bright Dawns

Let’s talk about those moments when we find ourselves staring into the void, feeling inadequate, like we’re drowning in hopelessness. During a season when I was a mother of two very young children…, juggling between work, parenting, and all other responsibilities, I’ve had those days; (still do) when finding a little bit of “me-time” felt like a victory.

And that’s when I realized: something is better than nothing.

I found myself asking, How can I possibly be a better mother, partner, and person in general if I’m not feeling well physically or mentally? I couldn’t keep putting myself at the bottom of the list and expect to somehow give everyone else the best of me.

I had to find an in-between. Something had to give. I didn’t need hours to myself or some perfect routine—I just needed to start somewhere. Even if all I could give myself was 20 or 30 minutes, that little bit still mattered.
As I continued learning through my wellness and healthy lifestyle coursework, something really stuck with me: starting small can absolutely make a difference!

I learned that creating a healthier lifestyle doesn’t have to begin with completely changing your life overnight. Sometimes, it starts with simply finding 20 or 30 minutes in your day to move your body, care for yourself, or work toward one small goal.

Those small, realistic changes are often what make healthy habits feel sustainable. You start where you are, you build consistency, and little by little, you grow stronger. Eventually, those 20 or 30 minutes don’t feel like something you’re trying to fit into your life anymore; they become a natural part of it.

That little bit creates consistency. Consistency creates momentum. And over time, that momentum can become a lifestyle.

And slowly, that little bit started becoming something bigger.

It was in these desperate times that I realized I needed to be my own hero. I discovered a strength and resilience within myself that I didn’t even know was there. And as I learned how to pull that strength from within and take better care of myself, I realized I wanted to help other women find that same strength to care for themselves, mentally and physically, and recognize just how much they’re capable of, too.

As I began finding my own strength, the people closest to me started recognizing that courage and resilience, too. During their own moments of struggle, friends and family would often turn to me for support, encouragement, and a little clarity when they were trying to navigate challenges of their own. It became my heartfelt mission to unveil the inherent beauty and strength within them.

Witnessing their transformations ignited a passion within me. Feminine Hues grew from that passion—a wellness-centered platform and community where I can extend that same genuine support, guidance, and habit exercises to women everywhere.. I want each reader to recognize the extraordinary resilience and grace they possess. To foster a community where we uplift and inspire one another to embrace our unique beauty and inner strength.

Embracing Every Hue of Womanhood: Because We’re All in This Together

Ladies, let’s get real. There is no one-size-fits-all version of wellness, womanhood, or becoming the person you want to be. We all come from different walks of life, carry different responsibilities, face different struggles, and have different goals.

That’s exactly why I created Feminine Hues—to use what I’ve learned, both personally and professionally, to support women in building healthier habits, finding what works for their lives, and becoming stronger mentally and physically—at their own pace and without the pressure to be perfect.

Your wellness journey doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s. Maybe you’re learning to move your body again, working toward healthier habits, rebuilding your confidence, prioritizing your mental well-being, or simply trying to find a little more time for yourself. Every part of that journey matters.

Nurturing the Feminine Spirit: Becoming Stronger Without Losing Yourself

To me, femininity isn’t about fitting into someone else’s definition of what a woman should be. It’s about embracing what makes you feel undeniably you—while taking care of the woman underneath it all.

Sometimes that means putting on the lipstick, doing your hair, and feeling beautiful. Other days, it means getting in a 20-minute workout, nourishing your body, protecting your peace, setting a boundary, or giving yourself permission to rest.

There is beauty in your uniqueness. Nobody else is you, and that’s your power. Taking care of yourself mentally and physically doesn’t change who you are; it helps you become a stronger, healthier, more confident version of her.

Self-Love as a Guiding Light: Because Taking Care of You Matters, Too

Picture this: me-time that isn’t guilt-tripped by the laundry or the never-ending to-do list. Sounds dreamy, right? Well, it’s more than possible. I’ve discovered that self-love isn’t selfish; it’s self-preservation. And trust me, it’s been a learning curve. From practicing gratitude to setting boundaries, I’m here to spill the beans on what’s worked for me (and what hasn’t).

🌟✨ Your Journey Starts Here ✨🌟

If there’s one thing I hope you take away from my story, it’s this: you don’t have to change everything overnight to start changing your life. You can start small. You can start imperfectly. You can start with 20 minutes. What matters is learning how to turn those small steps into habits that can actually become part of your life.

That’s a big part of what I want to help women develop through Feminine Hues. It’s not just about giving you a routine and telling you to stick with it. It’s about habit development—learning how to start, build consistency, create momentum, and develop healthier habits that feel realistic and sustainable for your life.

And just as importantly, it’s about learning how to come back.

Because life happens. You’re going to have busy weeks, stressful seasons, missed workouts, disrupted routines, and days when motivation simply isn’t there. Falling out of a routine doesn’t erase the progress you’ve made, and it doesn’t mean you have to start all over again.

Through wellness coaching, practical tools, and the lessons I’ve learned through both my own journey and continued education, I want to help you build the skills to recognize when you’ve fallen off track, reset without beating yourself up, and find your way back to the habits that make you feel your best.

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s learning how to keep going—and knowing how to come back when you don’t.

That’s the kind of strength I want Feminine Hues to help women build: something that can grow with you through every season of your life. 🦋
